Olympia - BLUE BADGE PARKING T&CS

The following Additional Terms apply to your use of the Blue Badge Parking Access Feature (“Blue Badge Parking”). The Blue Badge scheme is a national arrangement that provides parking concessions for people with severe mobility problems, registered blind people and people who care for or transport those with certain disabilities (a “Blue Badge”). These Additional Terms are supplemental to, and should be read together with, the main Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Additional Terms and the main Terms of Use, these Additional Terms shall prevail in relation to Blue Badge Parking.

Last updated: June 2026

1 ELIGIBILITY AND BOOKING

1.1 Blue Badge Parking is available to registered users of the App who hold a valid Blue Badge issued in accordance with the Blue Badge scheme.

1.2 Blue Badge Parking is provided free of charge. You will not be required to pay any parking tariff for use of this Access Feature.

1.3 To use Blue Badge Parking, you must make a booking through the App by selecting an available date, providing your vehicle registration number, the number of passengers, your reason for visit and a contact telephone number.

1.4 If you are unable to use the App to make a booking due to a disability or access need, you may contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk to make a booking with the assistance of our team.

1.5 Bookings may be made up to three months in advance, subject to availability. We do not guarantee that a parking space will be available on any particular date.

1.6 Upon completing a booking, you will receive a unique QR code which is valid for access to the Blue Badge Car Park between 07:00 and 23:59 on your booked date only.

2 ARRIVAL AND ACCESS

2.1 On arrival, you must display a valid Blue Badge clearly in the front windscreen of your vehicle and ensure the Blue Badge remains displayed for the duration of your booking. Our security staff may verify your Blue Badge before granting access to the car park and may conduct periodic spot checks to ensure that your Blue Badge is properly displayed.

2.2 You must use the vehicle registration number provided at the time of booking. If your vehicle registration changes, you must cancel your booking and make a new booking with the correct details before arriving.

2.3 Blue Badge Parking is for cars and similar passenger vehicles only. Buses, coaches and other large vehicles are not permitted. A maximum vehicle height restriction of 2.8 metres applies.

2.4 One booking applies to one vehicle. Passengers travelling with you (including any carer or companion accompanying a Blue Badge holder) do not require separate bookings or visitor badges and will access the venue with you using your QR code.

2.5 An accessible route is available from the car park to the public realm and venue areas via designated lifts. We will provide wayfinding information in your booking confirmation. If lifts or access routes are temporarily unavailable, please contact our team for assistance, using [telephone number] during [manned hours] or use [intercom/email/help point]. We will make reasonable adjustments where required.

3 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 You must:

(a) remove your vehicle from the car park by 23:59 on your booked date. If you require assistance after this time, please contact our support team;

(b) park your vehicle fully within a marked bay and must not obstruct other vehicles, access routes or emergency exits;

(c) ensure your vehicle is securely locked with all windows closed and any alarm or security device engaged;

(d) not leave any animals unattended in your vehicle (save that Assistance dogs (as defined in the Equality Act 2010) are welcome in the Blue Badge Car Park and throughout all accessible areas of the Olympia venue);

(e) procure and maintain an appropriate level of insurance cover for your vehicle and property;

(f) drive carefully and at low speed within the car park and follow any directions given by our staff; and

(g) comply with all instructions displayed on signage within the car park.

4 CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS AND MISUSE

4.1 You may cancel a booking at any time through accessing your booking within the App or via the ‘Cancel Booking’ link within your confirmation email. We encourage you to cancel as early as possible if your plans change, so that spaces can be made available to other users.

4.2 If you need to amend or change any details contained in your booking before arrival (for example, a change of vehicle registration number) you must cancel your original booking and re-book. We do not guarantee that spaces remain available if you must cancel your original booking for any reason. [LS8.1]

4.3 We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw your access to Blue Badge Parking if you repeatedly fail to arrive for bookings, make late cancellations, misuse the Access Feature, or otherwise breach these Additional Terms.[LS9.1]

5 ABANDONED VEHICLES

5.1 Any vehicle left in the Blue Badge Car Park for more than 7 days beyond the end of your booked date without a valid booking may be treated as abandoned.

5.2 We reserve the right to remove any abandoned vehicle from the Blue Badge Car Park. We will use reasonable efforts to contact you using the details associated with your Account before removing your vehicle. You will be liable for any costs reasonably incurred by us in removing and storing your vehicle, and we reserve the right to recover such costs from you.

5.3 We shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to any vehicle (including any contents) removed pursuant to this clause, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

6 LIABILITY

6.1 Blue Badge Parking is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We do not guarantee that spaces will be available or that the Access Feature will be accessible at all times.

6.2 You park your vehicle in the car park at your own risk. We do not guarantee the security of your vehicle or its contents and shall not be liable for any theft, loss or damage to your vehicle or any items left in it, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

6.3 The limitations of liability set out in clause 16 (Exclusion of Our Liability) apply to your use of Blue Badge Parking.

7 PERSONAL DATA

7.1 For information on how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

8 ACCESSIBILITY

8.1 We are committed to making Blue Badge Parking accessible to all eligible users. If you have a disability or access need and require a reasonable adjustment in connection with any aspect of this Access Feature, including the booking process, arrival and access, use of the car park, or any communication from us, please contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk. We will consider all such requests in accordance with our obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

8.2 These Additional Terms and any booking confirmation or other communication relating to Blue Badge Parking can be made available in alternative formats (such as large print, easy read, or screen reader-compatible format) upon request. Please contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk.

9 GENERAL

9.1 We reserve the right to close the Blue Badge Car Park or withdraw this Access Feature at any time, including for maintenance, security or operational reasons, without prior notice.

9.2 If you have any questions about Blue Badge Parking or require assistance, please contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk.
