Olympia - cycle PARKING T&CS

The following Additional Terms apply to your use of the Cycle Parking Access Feature (“Cycle Parking”). These Additional Terms are supplemental to, and should be read together with, the main Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Additional Terms and the main Terms of Use, these Additional Terms shall prevail in relation to Cycle Parking.

Last updated: June 2026

1 ELIGIBILITY AND BOOKING

1.1 Cycle Parking is available to registered users of the App. Cycle Parking is provided free of charge.

1.2 To use Cycle Parking, you must make a booking through the App by selecting an available date, providing a contact telephone number, selecting your reason for visit, and providing a description of your bicycle (including make, model and colour where possible).

1.3 If you are unable to use the App to make a booking due to a disability or access need, you may contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk to make a booking with the assistance of our team.

1.4 Bookings may be made up to three months in advance, subject to availability. We do not guarantee that a space will be available on any particular date.

1.5 Upon completing a booking, you will receive a unique QR code which is valid for access to the facility (the “Visitor Cycle Store”) between 07:00 and 23:59 on your booked date only.

2 ARRIVAL AND ACCESS

2.1 On arrival, present your QR code at the access reader to enter the Visitor Cycle Store. You must follow any wayfinding signage and instructions provided in the App or at the facility.

2.2 After storing your bicycle, you should exit via the designated route to the public realm or venue areas. Wayfinding information will be provided in your booking confirmation and on signage within the facility.

2.3 Your QR code is unique to your Account and is for your personal use only. You must not share, transfer, screenshot or otherwise make available your QR code to any other person.

3 PERMITTED BICYCLES

3.1 Cycle Parking is for bicycles only. You may not store any other items, equipment or personal belongings in the Visitor Cycle Store. Any such items may be removed without notice. To enquire about recovering removed items, please email experience@olympia.co.uk.

3.2 Electric bicycles (e-bikes) are permitted, however we do not provide charging facilities. You must not charge your e-bike battery within the Visitor Cycle Store. On-demand commercial hire bicycles (such as Lime, Human Forest or similar bike-sharing services) are not permitted in the Visitor Cycle Store.

3.3 You must not bring any bicycle with a damaged, defective or overheating battery into the Visitor Cycle Store. If you become aware that your e-bike battery is damaged or malfunctioning, you must remove your bicycle from the facility immediately.

3.4 Electric scooters (e-scooters) are not permitted in the Visitor Cycle Store.

3.5 Cargo bicycles and other non-standard or oversized bicycles are not permitted in the Visitor Cycle Store, as the facility and racks may not be able to accommodate them. However, if you use an adapted cycle, handcycle, tricycle or similar mobility aid due to a disability, please contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk to discuss whether we can accommodate your bicycle.

4 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 You must collect your bicycle and remove it from the Visitor Cycle Store by 23:59 on your booked date. If you require assistance after this time, please contact our support team.

4.2 If you are unable to collect your bicycle by 23:59, you should make a new booking for the following day to return and collect it. Failure to do so may result in your bicycle being treated as abandoned.

4.3 You are responsible for securing your bicycle using your own lock. We recommend using a high-quality lock appropriate for securing your bicycle. We do not provide locks.

4.4 You are responsible for procuring and maintaining an appropriate level of insurance cover for your property.

4.5 You must not obstruct access routes, emergency exits or other users’ bicycles when storing your bicycle.

5 ABANDONED BICYCLES

5.1 Any bicycle left in the Visitor Cycle Store for more than 7 days without a valid booking may be treated as abandoned.

5.2 We reserve the right to remove any abandoned bicycle from the Visitor Cycle Store. This may include cutting locks where necessary. We will use reasonable efforts to contact you using the details associated with your Account before removing your bicycle.

5.3 We shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to any bicycle (including any lock) removed pursuant to this clause, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

6 CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS AND MISUSE

6.1 You may cancel a booking at any time through the App. We encourage you to cancel as early as possible if your plans change, so that spaces can be made available to other users.

6.2 If you need to amend or change any details contained in your booking before arrival (for example, a change of bike colour) you must cancel your original booking and re-book. We do not guarantee that spaces remain available if you must cancel your original booking for any reason.

6.3 We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw your access to Cycle Parking if you repeatedly fail to arrive for bookings, make late cancellations, leave your bicycle overnight without a valid booking, misuse the Access Feature, or otherwise breach these Additional Terms.

7 LIABILITY

7.1 Cycle Parking is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We do not guarantee that spaces will be available or that the Access Feature will be accessible at all times.

7.2 You store your bicycle in the Visitor Cycle Store at your own risk. We do not guarantee the security of your bicycle or any accessories, and shall not be liable for any theft, loss or damage to your bicycle or accessories, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

7.3 The limitations of liability set out in clause 16 (Exclusion of Our Liability) apply to your use of Cycle Parking.

8 PERSONAL DATA

8.1 For information on how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

9 GENERAL

9.1 We reserve the right to close the Visitor Cycle Store or withdraw this Access Feature at any time, including for maintenance, security or operational reasons, without prior notice.

9.2 If you have any questions about Cycle Parking or require assistance, please contact us by telephone on [telephone number] during [hours] or by email at experience@olympia.co.uk.
