Visitors set to experience Photo London through a new lens at Olympia

In just a few weeks, Photo London, will take over Olympia for the very first time, bringing one of London’s leading cultural events into the heart of the destination during a landmark year, as it celebrates its 140th anniversary and continues to open its new venues.

Running from 14 to 17 May, with a preview on 13 May, the UK’s largest photography event will bring a diverse global cohort of galleries, artists and visitors to Olympia’s iconic National Hall, allowing visitors to move between galleries, installations and talks with ease. Refreshments will also be available throughout the site in abundance, including the new hospitality spaces at Pillar Hall, featuring all day dining restaurant, Idalia, London’s hottest new restaurant opening this spring.

Highlights for this year’s edition include:

  • The return of Master of Photography with eminent American fashion photographer Steven Meisel making a rare presentation of London portraits
  • A major exhibition by Autograph presenting 17 women and non-binary artists from its collection, spanning four decades of image-making and representation
  • The launch of Source, a new curated section dedicated to solo presentations by significant artists, with a focus on underrepresented voices
  • A dedicated film screening room for the first time, introducing artists’ moving image works, including Sarah Moon’s There is something about Lillian
  • An expanded Discovery section, spotlighting emerging galleries with particularly strong South Asian representation this year
  • The second edition of Positions, supporting unrepresented photographers championed by collectors and patrons
  • A significantly expanded Publishers section, placing photobooks and independent presses more centrally within the fair
  • A talks programme curated by Thames & Hudson, alongside awards including the Photo London x Nikon Emerging Photographer of the Year and the Student Award

With such an exciting lineup for its 11th anniversary edition, visitors to Photo London 2026 will be treated not just to a showcase of contemporary photography, but a celebration of the medium across publishing, moving image, exhibition and conversation.
