Formed in 1979, Grammy-winning Colombian salsa orchestra Grupo Niche is recognised by critics and audiences alike as Latin America’s most successful salsa orchestra.

Formed by Jairo Varela, Grupo Niche has for over four decades produced some of the biggest hits in the salsa world, songs like Una Aventura, Sin Sentimiento, Gotas de Lluvia, and the hit Cali Pachanguero, which became a salsa anthem worldwide.

Recently Grupo Niche received Grammy and Latin Grammy awards for the album 40, and in 2023 they won a Latin Grammy for the album Niche Sinfónico. Their latest album Mas Que Palabras is a hit in dancefloors across the world.
