Olympia Events secures major multi-year exhibition commitments

Olympia Events, managed by Legends Global, has secured new multi-year agreements with three of the UK’s most influential tech, design and AI exhibitions – London Tech Week, Big Data LDN and Decorex –  reinforcing Olympia’s position as a leading destination for world-class exhibitions, further enhanced by its recent £1.3billion redevelopment.,

The agreements see all three exhibitions secure their long-term relationships with Olympia, citing the venue’s evolving destination offer, investment into enhanced event infrastructure, unrivalled transport links, growing hotel capacity and ability to support future growth as key factors behind their commitments.

Together, these exhibitions attract more than 60,000+ attendees annually and represent some of the UK’s most important gatherings for technology, design and innovation.

Andy O’Sullivan, CEO of Olympia Events, said:

“These agreements demonstrate the confidence that organisers have in Olympia’s future and in the role that destinations now play in the success of exhibitions. London Tech Week, Big Data LDN and Decorex are all leaders in their sectors and each has ambitious plans for growth. What unites them is a desire to create experiences that extend beyond the exhibition halls, bringing together content, networking, hospitality and community across the wider destination. Olympia is uniquely positioned to help exhibition organisers deliver those experiences through a combination of iconic event spaces, new hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues and world-class connectivity. We’re proud that these partners have chosen to continue that journey with us.”

London Tech Week has committed to a new three-year agreement following significant growth at Olympia. Since relocating to the venue in 2024, the event has scaled into one of London's leading destinations for global tech leadership, welcoming 35,000 delegates in 2026 and expanding across several of Olympia’s interconnected event spaces. The 2026 edition featured more than 700+ speakers and over 250+ exhibitors and sponsors. The event will continue its growth trajectory in 2027 and 2028, expanding into Olympia’s new International Convention Centre (ICC). The state-of-the-art venue will provide additional capacity and flexibility, creating new opportunities to enhance the programme and attendee experience.

Randel Bryan, Vice President of London Tech Week, said:

“London Tech Week brings together the global technology ecosystem, so having a home where we can build a long-term identity and community is incredibly important. The ambition and expansion of Olympia mirrors our own ambitions for the event. The redevelopment has transformed Olympia into a world-class destination and gives us the platform to continue growing, diversifying and creating memorable, world-class experiences for our delegates. We see this as a long-term partnership and are excited about what we can achieve together over the coming years.”

Big Data LDN has signed a new three-year agreement, extending a relationship that stretches back to the event’s launch and reflects the show’s evolution from a specialist gathering into one of the UK’s leading data and AI events. Since launching at Olympia in 2016, Big Data London has grown from a small event in Olympia's former conference centre to one of the venue's largest technology exhibitions, expanding through West Hall before moving into The Grand Hall in 2021, and today spanning both of Olympia's largest exhibition halls.

Andy Steed, Event Director of Big Data LDN, said:

“Big Data LDN has become synonymous with Olympia. We’ve been here from the start and, for us, Olympia has always been home. As the event has grown, the venue has grown with us, giving us the space and flexibility to evolve while maintaining the identity our community knows and values. What excites us most about the next chapter is the opportunity the wider destination creates. The new hotels, restaurants, bars and conference facilities will allow delegates, exhibitors and speakers to spend more time together, creating stronger networking opportunities and an even better event experience. It’s exactly the kind of environment a growing international event needs.”

Decorex, the UK’s leading luxury interiors exhibition, has also renewed its commitment to Olympia, where it has been based since 2019, under a new two-year deal. Similarly, the show has experienced significant growth during its time at Olympia, expanding into both The Grand Hall and National Hall in 2023.

Sam Fisher, Event Director of Decorex, said:

“Olympia has been an important part of Decorex since 2019. As a design-led event, the architecture, natural light and character of the building complement the experience we’re creating and have become part of the show’s identity. Looking ahead, we’re excited about the wider destination offer. The additional hospitality, restaurants and social spaces will encourage visitors to stay longer, spend more time with clients and continue conversations beyond the show floor. It aligns perfectly with the kind of experience our audience increasingly expects.”

The agreements build on a period of significant momentum for Olympia, which is emerging as one of Europe’s most ambitious destinations for events, entertainment, hospitality and culture. New hotels, restaurants, office spaces, entertainment venues and public spaces are creating fresh opportunities for organisers to extend delegate and exhibitor engagement before, during and after their events.

Janet Coyle, Managing Director for Grow London at London & Partners said:

“London & Partners has been a strategic partner of Olympia for many years, helping showcase this iconic venue as a global destination for business events. The recent investment is a significant vote of confidence in London, enabling the city to host even more major international events and exhibitions at a destination that has been thoughtfully reimagined for the needs of modern audiences. The addition of new restaurants, bars, hotels, entertainment venues and public spaces is creating new opportunities forbusiness, tourism and investment across west London and beyond. Olympia is aplace where people come together to meet, connect, build partnerships and drivegrowth. With its enhanced facilities, outstanding connectivity and unique senseof place, there are few venues better positioned to host world-leading events.”
